Suryadev is very merciful.

“See Only the deity of Suryadeva, located in the Suryamandira within this forest. In great happiness, Srimati Radharani and Her sakhis came here to worship Suryadeva. Krsna Himself was the priest and enjoyed doing the puja . This deity of Suryadeva it is very merciful and gives love for Krishna. I adore Suryadeva, who is the father of the Yamuna and the destroyer of all evil. the waiver attachment to the lotus feet of Krsna and therefore is the foundation of everything auspcioso . ” ( Bhakti ratnakara).

See the Sunlight, Moonlight; See God!

Japanese man: I want to at least hear God in this world, and I was wondering what is… Prabhupāda: So God is speaking Bhagavad-gītā. Just like reading, Kṛṣṇa is speaking. So hear it, God speaking, the sound. The devotees are chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa, that is God, that sound is God, śabda-brahma.This is the way. And if you want to see God, you can see also. That is prescribed here. Just like Kṛṣṇa says, prabhāsmi śaśi-sūryayoḥ: “I am the sunlight and moonlight.” So you see the sunlight, moonlight, and you see God. Kṛṣṇa says, “I am the sunlight. I am this moonlight.” Then if you want to see Kṛṣṇa, you see the… Sunlightyou can see very easily. Is it very difficult for you? Then Kṛṣṇa says, He personally says, that “I am the sunlight.” You see the sunlight. You go on sunlight, seeing the sunlight, and you just take the words of Bhagavad-gītā, “Now here is Kṛṣṇa.” Then you will understand, “Here is God.” And factually you will see. If you think of only the sunlight, moonlight as instructed in the Bhagavad-gītā—Kṛṣṇa says, “I am sun…”—then one day very soon you will understand. You will see Kṛṣṇa in sunlight. It is not bogus thing, that Kṛṣṇa says, “I am the sunlight.” He is. And He asks you to see. You see minutely, and you’ll see Kṛṣṇa. So where is the difficulty? You want to see Kṛṣṇa. You see Kṛṣṇa as Kṛṣṇa advises. Kṛṣṇa says, raso ‘ham apsu kaunteya [Bg. 7.8] = “I am the taste of the water,” or any liquid substance, “The taste I am.” Now, whenever you drink water or drink any liquid thing or milk, the taste… There is… Everything has got a different taste. And if you think, as Kṛṣṇa advises you, that “This taste is Kṛṣṇa,” then on that taste you will find Kṛṣṇa. You begin as Kṛṣṇa says. Then you will see Kṛṣṇa. There is no difficulty. There are so many examples given by Kṛṣṇa in the Bhagavad-gītā.[aside:] Find out that chapter. raso ‘ham apsu kaunteya

“The Sun is accepted as the glowing effulgence of the Supreme Lord”

Chapter 10: The Opulence of the Absolute

TEXT 21

adityanam aham visnur
jyotisam ravir amsuman
maricir marutam asmi
naksatranam aham sasi

SYNONYMS

adityanam—of the Adityas; aham—I am; visnuh—the Supreme Lord; jyotisam—of all luminaries; ravih—the sun; amsuman—radiant; maricih—Marici; marutam—of the Marutas; asmi—I am; naksatranam—of stars; aham—I am; sasi—the moon.

TRANSLATION

Of the Adityas I am Visnu, of lights I am the radiant sun, I am Marici of the Maruts, and among the stars I am the moon.

PURPORT

There are twelve Adityas, of which Krsna is the principal. And among all the luminaries twinkling in the sky, the sun is the chief, and in the Brahma-samhita the sun is accepted as the glowing effulgence of the Supreme Lord and is considered to be one of His eyes. Marici is the controlling deity of the heavenly spaces. Among the stars, the moon is most prominent at night, and thus the moon represents Krsna.

Omkara is the sound form of the Supreme Personality of Godhead

Translation

“The transcendental vibration oṁkāra is the sound form of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. All Vedic knowledge and this cosmic manifestation are produced from this sound representation of the Supreme Lord.

Purport

Oṁkāra is the representation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead in sound. This form of His holy name is accepted as the transcendental vibration (mahā-vākya) by virtue of which the temporary material manifestation has come into being. If one takes shelter of the sound representation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead (oṁkāra), he can realize his constitutional identity and engage in devotional service even though in conditioned life.

Translation

“The subsidiary vibration tat tvam asi [“you are the same”] is meant for the understanding of the living entity, but the principal vibration is oṁkāra. Not caring for oṁkāra, Śaṅkarācārya has stressed the vibration tat tvam asi.”

Purport

Tat tvam asi is accepted as the primary vibration by one who does not accept praṇava, the transcendental sound incarnation of the holy name of the Lord, as the chief principle in the Vedic literature. By word jugglery, Śaṅkarācārya tried to create an illusory presentation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead in His relationship with the living entities and the cosmic manifestation. Tat tvam asi is a warning to the living entity not to mistake the body for the self. Therefore tat tvam asi is especially meant for the conditioned soul. The chanting of oṁkāra or the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra is meant for the liberated soul. Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī has said, ayi mukta-kulair upāsyamānam (Nāmāṣṭaka 1). Thus the holy name of the Lord is chanted by the liberated souls. Similarly, Parīkṣit Mahārāja says, nivṛtta-tarṣair upagīyamānāt (Bhāg. 10.1.4). The holy name of the Lord can be chanted by those who have fully satisfied their material desires or who are fully situated on the transcendental platform and devoid of material desire. The name of the Lord can be chanted by one who is completely freed from material contamination (anyābhilāṣitā-śūnyaṁ jñāna-karmādy-anāvṛtam). Śaṅkarācārya has indirectly minimized the value of the principal Vedic mantra (oṁkāra) by accepting a subordinate vibration (tat tvam asi) as the most important Vedic mantra.

Summary of http://www.Omtothesun.com

The way that I understand it, according to scripture what we see is only the aura, or the glaring effulgence of Surya Narayan. Actually Laxmi and Surya Narayan are seated on a lotus within the sun, and from them comes the glaring sun disk- but it’s only a veil behind which is Surya Narayan. And the sunshine is only a bi product emanating from Him without any conscious effort on His part, and without any expense to Him. He is the Supreme Absolute Truth. And the Romans would have a saying, Sol Invictus. And in Greece, Rome, all over, we find in Pre Christian times the Sun was always a person. Apollo, Helios, Mitras, Aten Ra, Surya Narayan.

In the year 380 the Roman Empire hatched a plot to mentally enslave the masses. It was expensive to squash rebellions and always defending against rivals. So the Roman Catholic Church was established as the only legal theological authority and then they broke the connection between the people and the Sun Being- Surya Narayan. Just as sometimes a mother will alienate the child from the father. And like an animal in the zoo sometimes is taken away from the mother and given a stuffed animal as a surrogate and they bond to this fake mother and become irrationally attached to this fake stuffed animal- this is what became of the slave class. To disorient them and to break their connection to the Divity. Just like Rama was worshipping Surya Narayan and prayed to Surya Narayan and Gazed and said this prayer Aditya Hridaya- which was for victory- so the ruling elite realized the power of this connection and therefore they wanted to break it. So this was the mental slavery first chapter. Later they introduce the scientism which is another form of indoctrination to keep the masses in darkness- no more dangerous to the ruling class than the sheep to the shepherd. The next phase is what we have now with this medical and technology installment of the mental slavery program.

So some people are blaming so many things for the modern degradation, but it came from this breaking our connection with Surya Narayan. Then also came the persecution and execution of so many pure devotees- Druids (Brahmanas), heretics, and so called “witches“- in the name of the Church or in other words for the purpose of mental enslavement.

So then Srila Prabhupada comes. And he taught all of this but in a covert way- knowing full well the stakes and the forces he was up against. Therefore he spoke it but nobody caught it, and he didn’t focus on this point. His main mission was to spread the movement and remain under the radar in order that once it would be established some would discover the hidden mystery within his teaching to liberate humanity from bondage by reconnecting us to the Old God- the Sun Being, Surya Narayan.
